| FANTASYS CORE is proud to be locally based in Nagasaki, in Kyushu, southern Japan. Our Porto record label presents music from the South (of Japan, and of Asia). We will continue to send music and information from Nagasaki to the world. Nagasaki is the city where the atomic bomb was dropped for the first time in world history. "PORTO Label" is located just where Ground Zero was. Historically, Nagasaki was also the one open port city during the 200 years of Japanese seclusion from the rest of the world. The city became a wild new frontier mixing foreign and Japanese trade, learning, and cultural revolution. PORTO is a label made up of a group of artists combining international styles and cultures--not Western, not Japanese, but uniquely free Nagasaki! |
